Modular and detachable vehicles have become an effective solution to address the extreme environments of space, such as vacuum and radiation, as well as the diverse needs of exploration missions. Through modular design, different functional modules can be flexibly configured to adapt to various scientific research requirements; and through advanced survival support systems, the safety and comfort of astronauts during long-duration missions are ensured.
Continue readingSwimcar is a modular amphibious vehicle designed for flood-prone cities. The vehicle combines a sealed electric chassis with an independent cabin made of carbon fiber composite. A magnetic-hydraulic interface holds the two parts together during road use. When sensors detect rising water, the cabin is released and floats as a life raft, so passengers remain above the surface. An eco-benefit module purifies water through aeration and filtration while the vehicle travels. In-wheel motors provide propulsion on land and in water.

Recycled from over 3000 discarded computer circuit boards and illuminated at night entirely by the power of the sun. With a special bioluminescent coating that glows in the dark by absorbing both natural and artificial photons, it illuminates even without electricity. An included Artificial Intelligence system is embedded into the totems where the installation can "talk" to anyone organically. A special Metaverse Immersion is included once VR/AR goggles are worn.

Several packages are carried in a single flight, guided by artificial intelligence for dynamic route planning and by real time obstacle detection through LiDAR and camera modules. The body is made of carbon fiber composites, shaped by CNC cutting and resin infusion, and folding arms allow flight through narrow urban spaces. Brushless motors provide up to 45 minutes of flight per charge and a payload of up to 3 kg. The intent is to lower costs, shorten waiting times and reduce emissions.

LiDAR sensors monitor the ground, and the robot switches between wheels and feet to move across complex terrain. The modular structure allows search and rescue, medical, transport or communication modules to be fitted for each mission. A hydrogen engine can be refueled or recharged and provides a long operating time. An artificial intelligence system analyzes mission data and plans the path autonomously. The robot measures 1000 by 996 by 428 millimeters.

The form takes inspiration from the diving posture of an eagle, with lines that suggest speed. A modular structure holds gas sensors and a real-time data transmission system. The body is made with three-dimensional printing, computer controlled precision machining and carbon fiber composite molding, which keeps the drone light and strong. The drone measures 480 mm in width, 400 mm in length and 100 mm in height. A handheld device controls flight, while a display and alarm system report gas levels.
